Tom Macpherson, PhD

Tom received his BSc(Hon) and PhD (thesis) from the University of Sussex, UK, where he studied the neural mechanisms of cocaine addiction in the labs of Prof Dai Stephens and Dr Sarah King. He was then awarded a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research to study a postdoctoral position in the lab of Prof Takatoshi Hikida at Kyoto University, Japan. Since 2018, has worked as an assistant professor at the Institute for Protein Research, Osaka University, Japan.
